As many of you know, we have unfortunately been severely affected by the recent and unprecedented floods, following storm Ciara and then storm Dennis!
The River Severn first entered our studio in Ironbridge on the 18th February, peaking at 6.5 metres leaving a shocking trail of contaminated and ruined equipment and stock in its wake. River levels remained high and a few days later the water came back in this time at 6.8 meters - 30cm higher than the previous week!
Our key glassmaking equipment was submerged & consequently the damage we have sustained is catastrophic.
