Handmade patternated dichroic jewellery combining space age technology and ancient craftsmanship.
Multiple layers of glass are cut to size and layered with cameo decorated dichroic shards before being kiln fired to 800°C. Only after firing is the true beauty and dazzling colour revealed from within the layers of the glass.
Every piece of our dichroic jewellery is unique, not two are identical. Each pendant is supplied with a 18" sterling silver 'snake' chain and presented in a gift box - The perfect gift!
Each pendant featured here is one of a kind, therefore when you make an order you will receive the exact pendant photographed.
Layers of hand decorated shards are fused together revealing beautiful, dazzling colours, like precious ‘fire opals’ or a butterflies wing. As you gently rotate the jewel in transmitted or reflected light the colours in the glass change. There are also tiny trapped air bubbles within the layers of glass which sparkle in the light .
Please understand that our dichroic jewels are extremely difficult to photograph as the colours are constantly altering with the light.
